Meet The Team : Christy

Christina joined the I-Evolve Team as a Services and Support Assistant in October 2010 and was promoted to Customer Service Administrator in August 2013. Christina is an integral part of the team at I-Evolve. Her duties include assisting the sales and technical teams, providing guidance on customer service best practices and helping to implement I-Evolve policies and procedures. Additionally, Christina works directly with customers to ensure they receive the best service possible.

What got you interested in customer service originally? Is there a story behind it?

I’ve always enjoyed customer service because I enjoy interacting with clients and making sure they’re getting the best experience possible. I worked as a server throughout college where I discovered my strong people skills and knew I wanted a career where I could work directly with clients. I love being able to do that every day at I-Evolve to make sure our clients are satisfied!

What is one of your hobbies outside your time at I-Evolve?

Outside of my I-Evolve, one of my main hobbies is to travel. I especially love taking cruises because you’re able to see so many beautiful places all within one vacation. Earlier this year I was able to go zip-lining in St. Thomas-it was awesome!

What have you learned about technology since working at I-Evolve? Has it changed anything in your daily life?

I think the main thing that I’ve learned is the true importance of technology within an organization. The amount of time and money that can be saved by having a good IT solution in place is remarkable. For me, I love the fact that today’s technology allows me to have access to my data wherever I am… which means I have the ability to work from home if it’s a super snowy Buffalo day!

What do you enjoy most about working at I-Evolve?

The people- without a doubt! Both my team members here at I-Evolve and the great clients I get to work with on a daily basis make me look forward to coming to work each day.

Meet The Team : Jon

Jon joined the I-Evolve Technical Services Team as a Systems Engineer in May 2014. His skills as a Systems Engineer include all Microsoft operating systems, Networking, Linux, SQL Database Servers, E-Mail and Web Servers and Information Security. Jon’s previous experience in customer service and quality assurance make him a great contributor to our team and we look forward to him expanding his knowledge and expertise.

What got you interested in technology originally? Is there a story behind it?

I have had a computer since I was 5 or 6 years old and always enjoyed using it. I really started to get serious about technology when my brother started going to school for computer programming and I would watch him work on his school projects. I studied Network Administration in college and have been hooked since then.

What is one of your hobbies outside your time at I-Evolve?

Outside of work, the majority of my time is spent with my kids – doing anything from sports practices to just hanging out and watching movies together. Other than that I am just a huge sports fan so I spend most of my time when I’m not with my kids watching sports.

What big change in technology have you seen since you started in the field?

I am relatively new to the field of technology as far as my professional career. I can say that in my lifetime, I have seen many major changes. My first computer ran on a DOS 3.3 operating system and I have had every version of Windows that has ever been released. It’s an exciting field to be in.

Can you share any success stories of something you’ve done for an I-Evolve customer that you’re particularly proud of the results?

I can’t say that there has been any one specific thing that stands out to me. I consider myself successful anytime I can help a customer solve whatever issue they are having. The jobs I enjoy the most are the ones where I need to research the issue and learn something new myself. I value any opportunity to learn new things and help our customers. After all, the best thing about technology, in my opinion, is that there is always something new to learn.
